I own three hooter hiders, and this is by far the best. I love the ruffles, both because they are beautiful and practical. The extra weight helps keep it in place, even when baby is exuberant (ie wiggling all over). It is also is the biggest, and I really appreciate the coverage (if you are trying to cover up, then it's great that it does the job!). If I lay it out, it also subs as a tummy time mat, shade cover, or lightweight blanket for naptime. It gets pretty hot inside despite the opening at the top. I don't know if my baby doesn't like it because it is too hot, or if he just doesn't like being covered up. Maybe they can make them with some sort of ventilation holes. The Hooter Hider material is very durable and thicker than the Udder cover material. I use the udder cover more often because since it is lighter material, it doesn't get as hot, but it still gets hot and my baby still hates it, whether outside or in our house.
